“Edible Fruit Grown in the Puget Sound” Poster

PugetSoundFruitPosterThumbnailTo educate people at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe this past summer, the Snohomish County Fruit Society put together a poster with edible fruits that are grown in the Puget Sound. There was such an overwhelming response to the poster and requests for copies that we have reprinted the poster in a smaller size and made it available for purchase. On the poster, fruits are divided into ground covers, shrubs, shrub/trees, trees, and vines. Each fruit has a picture of the plant and its fruit along with some basic information represented by icons (deciduous or evergreen, light needs, ease of growth, and native plant). For a larger, watermarked example of the poster, click here (watermarks do not appear on actual poster).

  • 11″x17″ sizes of these posters will be available at SCFS regular meetings for $5 and at special events where SCFS has a table such as the WWFRF Apple and Pear Day on Sat, 10/12/13 in Mt. Vernon.
