Keith Stocker and his family run the fourth generation Stocker Farms in the Snohomish River Valley. They have grown the farm to be a three season direct marketing and agritainment attraction with summer produce, fall harvest season activities, and Christmas trees for the holiday season. In 2007, the Stockers purchased Mountainview Blueberry Farm, a nine-acre blueberry farm in the Snohomish Valley. Keeping with their desire to sell directly to their customers, they converted the farm to a U-pick only operation that caters to customers in July and August of every season. Keith is also Past-Chairman of the Board for the Northwest Agricultural Business Center (NABC) and is President of the Snohomish Festival of Pumpkins Marketing Association (SFPMA).
Snohomish County Fruit Society (SCFS) is the newest chapter of Western Cascade Fruit Society (WCFS) www.wcfs.org. The meeting is open to the public and everyone is invited. For further information, call (425) 398-5544.
