Love tomatoes, but find them challenging to grow? At the May 8th meeting of the Snohomish County Fruit Society, Dr. Carol Miles will discuss tomato production methods that she has found to be successful in Western Washington, including variety selection, pruning, and season extension. The meeting starts at 7 pm at the Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish, 402 2nd St, Snohomish, WA 98290. A brief business meeting will precede the presentation.
Dr. Carol Miles is the Vegetable Research Specialist at Washington State University at the Northwestern Washington Research and Extension Center in Mount Vernon and has been researching vegetable production in western Washington for 20 years.
