Lori Brakken and Laure Jansen will start us out with a hands-on activity sorting, sealing, labeling, and storing scionwood that members and guests bring to the meeting. This is in preparation for our grafting event coming up on Sat, March 28 at the Cedar Valley Grange in Lynnwood. Rootstock will be available that day along with experienced grafters to teach you how to put your fruit trees together. Follow these guidelines if you would like to try collecting some scionwood of your own and bring it to the meeting.
Randy Lee will finish up the evening by covering propagation in general, including both grafting and non-grafting propagation techniques for fruiting vines, bushes, brambles, and trees.
